Extrusion Operator12-hour day shift or 12hr Night ShiftJob Summary: The Extrusion Operator is responsible for producing blown film plastic rolls and ensuring the smooth operation of extrusion machines. This role requires troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical issues, performing regular maintenance, and preparing resin mixes for film production. The position operates on a 12-hour shift schedule, and employees are expected to adapt to changes in job duties as needed to meet the organization's production goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Adhere to production schedules to meet production goals.
• Monitor and adjust machine temperature, oil levels, and screen packs regularly throughout the shift.
• Replace dies and heater bands according to product specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to ensure smooth machine operation.
• Prepare resin mixes for film production based on specifications.
• Collaborate with schedules and planners to ensure the correct film type is produced.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during machine operation and throughout the production area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet organizational needs.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, downtime, and any machine adjustments or repairs.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to meet output requirements while maintaining quality.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and operate extrusion machines.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with teams and management.
• Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures (SOPs) and product specifications.
• Proficient in basic math (reading, writing, and using a calculator).
• Previous experience in extrusion, manufacturing, or a similar production role preferred and ability to work independently.
Physical Demands:
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Must frequently lift or move up to 75 pounds.
• Occasionally push or pull up to 1600 pounds with proper equipment.
• Must be able to climb, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed.
• Regular use of hands and arms for handling materials, adjusting equipment, and performing machine repairs.
• Visual abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception to ensure machine operation and product quality.
Work Environment:
• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, high humidity, and potential airborne particles.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends, as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of general safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to use tape measure/ruler
• Ability to take simple measurements in standard and metric systems.
• Familiar with mechanical movements of manufacturing machinery
• Comprehension of temperature controls and gauges, pressure gauges, etc.
• Comprehension of Hydraulics and pneumatics and understanding the mechanic aspect of machines

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to fabricate and produce precision parts. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
• Operates and repairs assigned machines mechanically and electrically to ensure proper function.
• Prepares production items set up to meet product specifications.
• Monitors the quality of products to assure standards are met.
• Monitors material stock to determine when materials are needed to manufacture products.
• Meets productivity standards to achieve production schedules and service customers.
• Monitors and remains accountable for overall production waste.
• Maintains production schedules.
• Monitors efficiency and identifies problems.
• Completes required reports.
• Packages products to meet customer specifications.
• Responsible for housekeeping of assigned manufacturing area
Requirements:

Flexographic Press OperatorShift: RotationJob Title: Flexographic Press Operator
Shift: Rotation
Pay Rate: $13.50 per hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Machine Operator to join our Print Production team. You will operate various machinery including flexographic printers, laminators, and slitters, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities General Responsibilities
• Set up machines according to customer or item specifications.
• Monitor and maintain product quality and output levels.
• Track and manage raw material inventory and production schedules.
• Lubricate and maintain press equipment to prevent downtime.
• Monitor machine efficiency and collaborate with departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Printing Tasks
• Operate flexographic press to print designs onto film rolls.
• Set up rubber plates, ink, and monitor printing process via control panel.
• Perform quality checks for alignment, clarity, and color.
• Mix inks/dyes to desired shades and ensure ink/film specs are met.
• Load film rolls, adjust feed tension, and resolve jams or film tears.
• Perform cleaning and light maintenance on presses.
Laminator Tasks
• Prepare printed/back stock rolls for lamination.
• Clean rollers and remove startup rolls.
• Monitor quality and meet production goals.
• Complete production paperwork accurately using LX Scanner.
Slitter Tasks
• Operate slitting equipment to cut large rolls into customer-specified sizes.
• Use core cutter and handle product packing/materials.
• Detect and report non-conforming product.
• Complete production records and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in printing, machine operation, or manufacturing preferred.
• Basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and production documents.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
Skills Required
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machinery.
• Mechanical skills and ability to follow product specifications.
• Proficiency using measuring tools like gauges and calipers.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, calculate percentages).
• Attention to detail and focus on quality.
Physical Requirements
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and use of hands.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 200 lbs with assistance).
• Vision requirements include color perception and close/distance focus.
Work Environment
• On site workhouse.
• Fast-paced production floor near moving mechanical parts.
• Moderate to loud noise levels.
• Safety gear required: earplugs, safety glasses, safety shoes, hair/beard nets.
