• Operates and repairs assigned machines mechanically and electrically to ensure proper function.
• Prepares production item set up to meet product specification.
• Monitors quality of products to assure standards are met.
• Monitors material stock to determine when materials are needed to manufacture product.
• Meets productivity standards to achieve production schedules and service customers.
• Monitors and remains accountable for overall production waste.
• Maintains production schedules.
• Monitors efficiency and identifies problem.
• Completes required reports
• Packages products to meet customer specifications.
• Responsible for housekeeping of assigned manufacturing area

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of general safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to use tape measure/ruler
• Ability to take simple measurements in standard and metric systems.
• Familiar with mechanical movements of manufacturing machinery
• Comprehension of temperature controls and gauges, pressure gauges, etc.
• Comprehension of Hydraulics and pneumatics and understanding the mechanic aspect of machines

Marketing Associate1st ShiftSummary:
Develop and produce copy-writing content for Marketing and Sales materials including, but not limited to, packaging, point of sale sheets, publications, advertising slicks, specification sheets, and any other materials supporting the Marketing and Sales department. Maintains department equipment, productions equipment, and supplies.
Propose, plan and develop new products and support growth of existing products to all targeted customers (existing and new) in support of Handgards sales plan. Responsibilities include but are not limited to detailed project management and progress documentation, support for Sales and Brokers including development of training and sales materials, results tracking and reporting. Serves as primary Marketing resource on company work teams. Works closely with Marketing & Graphics team to coordinate projects and materials and meet established goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing and Sales operations

1. Primary focus and responsibility will be copy writing and content creation for marketing materials and customer marketing programs, which included, but not limited to, catalogs, POS sheets, website content, social media platforms, and internal newsletters.
2. Work directly with VP of Marketing to on-board, track, measure, and launch new products to the market.
3. Work directly with Marketing team to design, update, research, and produce marketing materials and content for marketing programs. Other duties may be assigned, and management reserves the right to change or modify the functions of this job as required to meet the needs of the organization.
4. Require strong social media skills to create and develop content for all social media platforms.
5. Work closely with Customer Service, Samples, and Graphics department to provide support which includes, but not limited to, product packaging, point of sale sheets, publications, advertising slicks, and specification sheets.
6. Support Sales Leadership in identification, evaluation, and development of new channels, products, and trends
7. Responsible for the coordination, communication, and rollout of new product launches to include the following:
a) All Marketing collateral, presentations, POS, and other launch material
b) Sample Packs and mailing to Sales
c) Tracking of inventory versus forecast versus sales in the first phase of a product launch.
d) Support Sales Leadership as internal coordinator for sales meetings and various other sales activities as needed.
e) Present detailed analysis to support the recommendations of the marketing team for new products/line extensions
8. Assist in the day-to-day operations of the GDSN/GS1 database ensuring all information is accurate and maintained for our customers.

Operational and Communication
1. Ensures work prioritization and scheduling
2. Ensure to complete assigned projects and must be knowledgeable in all aspects for their work.
3. Meets the needs and requirements of requested jobs for Sales and Marketing department.
4. Assists in designing and updating Handgards marketing material.

Education and/or Experience:

• BBA or Advertising and Communications and/or Hands-On Experience 5 years+ commercial food service supplier.
• No licenses, certifications, or registrations required

Experience: One to two-year experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3 year experience preferred.
Language: English or Spanish
Education: High School diploma, general education degree (GED) or Technical school
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills
Valid Driver’s License Required? No

Other Requirements:
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Comprehension of temperature controls and gauges, pressure gauges, etc.
• Comprehension of Hydraulics and Numatics and understanding the mechanic aspect of machine
• Ability to use tape measure/ruler
• Ability to take measurements and distinguish mm/inches

Duties:
• Replace defective parts of machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts
• Connect power unit to machine and test unit to evaluate its mechanical operation
• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment
• Working independently and with others to solve mechanical and technical problems
• Working accurately with numbers, and on occasion doing basic drawings of machine parts
• Able to read schematics and blueprints
• Operating hoisting and lifting devices as necessary during the repair of machinery
• Move equipment and machinery as needed either manually or with the proper and safe use of equipment
• Use a variety of hand tools, measuring tools, and equipment for cutting, welding and brazing to adequately fulfill your daily job duties
• Clean up upon completion of task to make sure job site remains well-organized and free of unnecessary clutter
• Take steps to ensure every job is done in a manner that’s safe and completed according to the latest workplace safety regulations, laws and requirements


Minimum Pay: $20/hr
Maximum Pay: $21/hr
Work week: M-F, must be a willing, able and available to work overtime, and weekends.
Shift-Nights: This position is an 8-hour shift.
