How To Properly Don A Disposable Glove
Remember to follow any specific procedures or guidelines provided by your workplace or industry. Additionally, if you are using gloves for specific tasks, such as in a healthcare or food service setting, be sure to follow the appropriate protocols for donning gloves to maintain hygiene and safety.
1 Wash Hands
2 Hold Gloves Correctly
Hold one glove by the cuff or folded edge, allowing the fingers to dangle downward.
3 Pull Over Hand
Pull the glove over your hand, ensuring that it covers your fingers, palm, and back of your hand. Be gentle to avoid tearing the glove.
4 Repeat for Second Glove
Repeat the process for the second glove, using your gloved hand to handle the second glove. Be cautious not to touch anything other than the gloves.
5 Adjust for Comfort
Once both gloves are on, adjust them for comfort and proper fit. Ensure that they cover your wrists and that there are no gaps between the glove and your skin.
