Maintains production schedules by ensuring there is enough stock for fabrication. Monitors and remains accountable for overall production waste. Lubricates press to maintain efficient operation of press and minimize critical part failure. Monitors efficiency and identifies problem areas. Communicates with other departments for resolution of problems. Ensures that work area is safe and kept in an orderly manner by performing daily housekeeping. Management reserves the right to change or modify the functions of this job as required to meet the needs for the organization. Therefore, other duties may be assigned. Able to work any shift. Tasks for Print: • Sets up and operates flexographic press to print designs or lettering onto rolls of film • Sets up, monitors, and adjusts the printing process on a control panel or computer monitor • Reads job order and mounts specified rubber plate and printing dies on cylinder; installs cylinder on shaft and secures assembly in bed of press • Completes required paperwork and reports production accurately and timely through LX Scanner to include waste, downtime codes, raw materials, etc. • Moves levers to engage dye rolls, adjusting position of cylinder to print two or more colors without overlapping or smearing previously printed area • Inserts shaft through core of film and secures roll on press in feed position • Splices end of roll to trailer sheet remaining in press and regulates roll tension and feed as directed • Starts press adjusting speed tension and alignment of printing plates as necessary • Cuts sample of printed material from end of printed roll and inspects for imperfections such as blurred off center impressions • Cleans rubber plate, cylinder, dye fonts and lubricates press as needed • Mixes inks or dyes to produce desired colors • Runs several presses with different size and color capacities • Inks the presses, loads film, and adjusts the press to the film size • Ensures that film and ink meet specifications • Guides film through the press cylinders and adjust feed and tension controls • Monitors their operation and keeps the film feeders well stocked • Adjusts ink distribution, speed, and temperature in the drying changer • Corrects film tears or jams • Oils and cleans the presses • Performs digital, electrostatic, and ink-jet printing • Blends colors Tasks for Laminator: • Performs to quality and meets production standards and goals • Removes and weighs startup rolls at beginning of job • Cleans all rollers and nip rollers in machine during setup and downtime to prepare for startup • Completes required paperwork and reports production accurately and timely through LX Scanner to include waste, downtime codes, raw materials, etc. • Prepares printed rolls for lamination (primary unwind) • Prepares back stock rolls for lamination (secondary unwind) • Assists in removing rolls for rewind • Removes waste from both unwinds and from rewind Tasks for Slitter: • Slits large rolls to smaller rolls in various dimensions according to customer specifications • Completes required paperwork and reports production accurately and timely through LX scanners to include waste, downtime codes, raw materials, etc. • Performs set-up and operates slitting equipment to produce product according to customer specifications • Assists with packing and material handling tasks as required • Operates core cutter and cuts cores as needed • Able to detect non-conforming product • Able to learn safe operation of tools, equipment and test equipment associated with the slitting operations Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. HR Clerk | 1st Shift (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.) | HR Clerk Pay Rate: $16.00 Position Summary We're looking for a friendly and organized HR Clerk to be the welcoming face of our company. You'll manage our front desk operations and provide crucial support to our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate is punctual, service-oriented, and excellent at multitasking. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break.
