WHY USE HIGH DENSITY RECLOSABLE BAGS?

TuffGards® High Density Reclosable Storage Bags are made of High Molecular, High Density (HMHD) polyethylene material, keeping foods fresher for significantly longer than Low Density bags. These bags can withstand temperatures down from -50°F (45.5°C) and up to 220°F (104.4°C) and can be transported from the freezer to a microwave or boiling water without the need of removing contents from the bag. They are the ideal choice for storing foods into a freezer while protecting foods from freezer burn. High density reclosable bags are designed to protect foods from being exposed to light, and the zipper closure can help reduce air intake that can potentially cause spoilage. Each bag has a bilingual print indicating size and also has write-on blocks for easy identification.
