In 2023, Handgards is proud to celebrate its 50th anniversary as a glove manufacturer in El Paso, TX. Over the years, our product portfolio has expanded beyond gloves to include a wide range of food service disposable products, such as food storage bags, pan liners, and much more.
When we started out in 1973, we had a vision for a better glove. A glove that would protect your hands but also look good. A glove made from the best materials and designed with the help of some of the brightest minds in the industry. A glove that could withstand any environment and protect your hands no matter what you were doing. We wanted to make sure that every person who wore our gloves knew they were getting something special—something tailored specifically for them.
And we did it! We made that vision into a reality, and now Handgards is one of the most trusted names in protective gear around the world.
But Handgards is more than just gloves—it’s about people too! Our employees are our greatest asset, and we’re so lucky to have such a fantastic team working with us on this journey every day! And now, with Wind Point Partners as our latest investor, we’ll be able to continue growing our brand even faster than ever before!
Handgards Rich History
We started with one poly glove in El Paso in 1973 and now offer a full range of disposable gloves and food service disposable products. We will continue to leverage our experience and honor our heritage as we anticipate an even more accelerated growth curve with the strong financial backing of Wind Point Partners.
